Tenerife Restaurants — top 20 by review score × volume

Ranked top-20 for the tenerife south-corridor base (Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas, Costa Adeje, La Caleta) on a tenerife-at-christmas trip. Method: candidate pools scraped Oct 2026 from Tripadvisor area listings and Wanderlog’s Google-Places aggregates (Wanderlog carries both the Google rating/review count and the Tripadvisor rating/count per place); ranked by Google rating × log10(Google reviews + 1), with Tripadvisor numbers cross-checked and shown where they diverge. Checked Oct 2026 — ratings drift fast, re-verify before booking. Filters applied: hotels/hostel venues, nightclubs and seafood/fish-led places (El Cine, Starfish, Salitre, Restaurant 88, Almar) are excluded — we don’t eat fish. 17 of 20 sit in the south corridor; 3 outliers north/west are included because they’re the island’s best Canarian cooking. Price bands are estimates (€ ~<15 pp, €€ ~15–35, €€€ 40+). Bold + “book ahead” = our splurge picks.

Near misses & notes

  • Sal Fina / “Fine Salt” (Los Cristianos): G 4.8/1,195, TA 5.0/1,196 — would rank ~#19 but Google tags it part-seafood; go if fish-free options suit.
  • Habibi (Los Cristianos, Lebanese, G 4.6/2,006) and CHAR Fuego y Brasas (Costa Adeje steakhouse, G 4.7/1,399) sit just under the cut.
  • Guachinches rotate seasonally (many legally open only ~Oct–Apr) — La Huerta de Ana y Eva and Casa Pedro are year-round institutions; verify opening before driving.
  • Ratings are Google scores with Tripadvisor in brackets; formula = rating × log10(reviews+1).
